  1. Importance of activity for physical and mental health

Now more than ever it is important to remind everyone of the importance physical activity plays in maintaining our physical and mental health. Amidst the present challenges and the ever-evolving rules and restrictions, we hope you are able to find ways to regularly exercise and we want you to know that we are here to support you on your health and fitness journey. We can do this in a number of ways including improving injury and mapping out rehabilitation and strength programs.

  1. Prevention and management of injury

Avoiding injury in the first place is a great reason to visit your physiotherapist. They are able to complete a number of assessments that can identify problematic areas, or areas that may be predisposed to injury or pathology. Many injuries are the result of an increase in physical load, poor flexibility, prolonged postures, increase in intensity/volume of exercise or lifestyle change.

You will find working with your physiotherapist now to identify these areas is a cost-effective approach and in the long-run may be critical to prolonging the health of your tissues and joints.

  1. Alleviate pain

Is pain stopping you from living your best life? We provide comprehensive and integrated treatment balanced between the traditional, proven methods and innovative approaches to consistently deliver best patient outcomes. As physiotherapists, we are great listeners and endeavor to work towards your personal goals and give you advice and treatment on how best to get there.

  1. Improving physical performance

Maximizing physical capabilities is another way of gaining benefit from your physiotherapist, before you are injured. Based on a comprehensive assessment, your physio can aid your physical performance through; load management, strength and flexibility programs and technical assessments of activities such as running, swimming, cycling, golf, power-lifting and gym-based exercises. At Physio Connex Performance Clinic we are pleased to be able to also provide integrated strength and conditioning programs all under the one roof from our highly qualified and experienced team.

  1. Working from home
